Share data between workspaces

By default, data is not shared between workspaces. However, there are instances when it becomes necessary to share certain portions of data.

For example, consider a Facebook Ads account managing advertising accounts for multiple clients. Directly connecting this account to workspaces is inconvenient and risky, as one client might see another client's data.

Instead, you can connect the large Facebook Ads account to the master account, filter the data, and share only the relevant information with specific workspaces. Then within these workspaces you can then create individual dashboards.

Data silos on a need-to-know basis with fine-grained access control

You can create a workspace and grant an employee access with restricted permissions. Then, share data within the workspace and give access to

  • only specific accounts
  • workflows that filter or obfuscate the raw data

How to share data

You have two ways to share data between workspaces: sharing datasets and sharing dashboards.

You can manage the sharing of data within the workspace UI.
