GA4 Initial time range

close

When you connect your GA4 account to Conduit, it retrieves historical data for the past 2 months. To extend this period, adjust the retention settings in GA4.

The Google Analytics Data Retention controls give you the ability to set the amount of time before user-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is automatically deleted from Analytics servers.

For Google Analytics 4 properties, you can set the retention period of user-level data to:

  • 2 months
  • 14 months

Afterward, you can increase the download rate in Conduit. However, increasing retention does not enable retrospective data recovery in GA4. This means that data retention settings needed to be increased beforehand, prior to connecting with Conduit.
