Dashboard displaying real-time data from spreadsheet cells

Imagine we have a dashboard that displays both actual metrics and our goals, like Spend and Target Spend.

We gather actual Spend data from our advertising platform and store the target spend for each month in a spreadsheet.

For instance, let’s say we need to extract Target Budget for November. Here’s how we can do it using Workflow:

Start by creating a new workflow named "Targets By Month" for easy access.

1. Load the Spreadsheet: Import the spreadsheet containing the targets into this workflow.

2. Set Up Monthly Subreports: Create a subreport within the workflow for each month.

3. Add Monthly Filters: Establish filters for each month (4) so you can select the desired timeframe easily.
   

Once these steps are complete, return to the dashboard, select the Workflow option, and choose the specific target month you want to display.

1. Select the "Workflow" data connection.
2. Open the "Targets By Month" workflow.
3. Choose the month.
4. Pick the metric.
