Conduit platform allows using the Copilot functionality in two distinct roles, depending on the nature of their tasks.

The toggle for this setting is located in the bottom right corner, just beneath the "Send" button.

Data Analyst

We employ AI to create a program that responds to your inquiries, which we then run on our own server. This means that your data does not get sent to the AI. As a result, we can handle an unlimited amount of data

It is an exact and precise analysis of the data. It is set as the default role in Copilot. By entering prompts in human language the user is able to give commands to AI on how the output dataset needs to look like, therefore your prompt should be as specific as possible. Using the "Data Analyst" role for AI imposes no restrictions on data volume.

Generalist

We utilize AI to directly answer questions, which involves sending data to the AI. However, the AI's memory capacity is quite limited, restricting the amount of data that can be processed.

Generalist is used to identify trends, generate projections and work with open data. It is limited to analyzing just 10,000 rows.

In case you're encountering the error on exceeding the 10 000 rows limit, we recommend switching the role to the Data Analyst, which is more suitable for analyzing larger chunks of data
